OasisOne Rules

It is OasisOne’s goal to be as much like the very first IRC networks were. That means as little intervention as possible. It is that reason why we only have five very simple rules.

1. No illegal activities. Currently all of our servers are located in the United States. So anything that is illegal in the United States is strictly prohibited on this network.
2. If you are in a channel that is owned by another user abide by that channels rules. If you register a channel you have 100% control over what goes on in that channel, unless it is prohibited by the networks rules. If someone is breaking your channels rules, and you are unable to ban them yourself, you may then ask for a IRCop’s help. Other then that, it is our policy that IRCop’s are strictly forbidden to monitor any users channel or monitor a user unless they have asked for help, or are believed to be breaking one of the five network rules.
3. Do not harass and IRCop’s or staff for any reason. If you ask for IRCop status the answer will be no. If you ask for help and nobody helps you, please understand that the IRCop may be busy helping someone else. Please be patient and wait your turn, do not spam the channel with help request. If you taunt a IRCop or staff member, you deserve whatever happens to you.
4. No malicious software. The use of any type of trojan or virus is strictly prohibited and will merit a permanent network wide ban. The use of drones, clones, or malicious bots is strictly prohibited and will also merit a permanent network ban.
5. No spam, unauthorized advertising, or flooding. You will be removed from the network and banned from the network indefinitely.
